As a starting point into my research I have been looking at factories that make and distribute the female body. In this video the female body is in the form of mannequins. I am interested in this footage as I like the way in which the making process is time consuming and shows the body being built limb by limb. Underneath the video on Youtube it says “The pursuit of the perfect body is as old as time. But who defines perfection?” - The bodies in the factory look as if they are performing, or perhaps waiting to be activated.
