EVELYN//RESEARCH OF DEVELOPMENT IDEAS: 'MOTION-INDUCED BLINDNESS'

In my last post, I showed research of Simons and Chabris's science experiment (1999). It was a test about Selective Blindness. Another similar phenomenon is called motion-induced Blindness, which is a visual disappearance or perceptual illusions. This is a more abstract topic, and it is more about colours.

Here is an online image. The test is when you focus on the flickering green dot at the centre for ten seconds, then you might find one, two, or three static yellow dots disappear and reappear. The interesting thing is when I experiment with this test, the yellow dots stayed on the imaginary equilateral triangle and did not flash. I think it is the reason is microsaccades, a study from NCBI.
