EVELYN//TIME IMPLIES CHANGE AND MOVEMENT; MOVEMENT IMPLIES THE PASSAGE OF TIME
Shaharee (2020) stated that ‘Time implies change and movement; movement implies the passage of time.’ It is explaining how time is presented in artworks. An example from Moshe Harosh Pixabay is shown below; a simple thing we do almost every day. The passage of time can be presented in something to appear or disappear. In this case, tea fills the empty cup (starting point) slowly, and the cup is full of tea at the end. The end of movement/duration is when the tea reaches the limit of the cup's volume.
When something reaches the limit, the limit is the end of a motion. Between the preparation of movement to this point, it is the length of time. Hans on Pixabay shared a video.
