AMIE// DEVELOPING IDEAS & QUESTIONAIRE ON SENSORY OVERLOAD// PRIMARY RESEARCH

Developing the theme of looking at 'sensory overload', I conducted a primary research task of sending a questionaire out to students at University, questioning them on their experience, if any, of sensory overload, what it feels like, where they experience and what kind of sensations they feel in their body.I made this video in response to the feedback I got back.

WARNING: This video could potentially trigger seizures for people with photosensitive epilepsy. Viewer discretion is advised.

I have developed another questionare, adding in some other questions I would like to explore in my research on this subject. It would mean a great deal if you could fill this one out for me.

Sensory overload occurs when one or more of the senses becomes overstimulated in some way.

Do you experience it?
If so, I am interested in hearing some feedback on what you experience, when and what helps.
Please take your time to answer the questionaire and don't worry, your answers will be confidential and used as a research basis for creating video works using found footage. If you are not happy with this, then please do not complete the questionaire.

TRIGGER WARNING: please note, this could be triggering if you experience sensory overload.
Please only move on if you feel you can.

Many thanks!
