'a shift to the feminine' - ecofeminist research

Research on how ecofeminist values can inform our treatment of the earth. Here Vandana Shiva (environmental activist and scholar) speaks on how due to "masculine project" (focussing on economic growth at the expense of exploiting earth resources), we have stopped seeing the earth as sacred.

"we can't carry on this path. we have to search for a new path"

I am interested in how these ideas intersect with the "rise of the divine feminine", and how society may "wake up" and shift into a balance of feminine values, rather than the masculine values which have dominated us for centuries.

"this means a shift in the feminine, both in seeing the rivers as living feminine, but also in terms of us organising ourselves, men and women, on less violent, less predatory ways on how we relate to the earth."

I acknowledge the issues here regarding the gender binary; I see this as all people, regardless of gender, have both masculine and feminine energy, and exploring how masculinity has dominated societies and ways of life.
